I feel something growing inside me. I take up pottery to distract myself from how lonely and frightened I am. I can’t bring myself to describe what happened to me next.
I can’t stop. And I can’t stop eating, either.
A few things:
1. Light Grey Art Lab interviewed me about my process and inspirations (and I got to show off the amazing sweater my mother knit me for Christmas).
3134 Eastern Ave., Baltimore MD 21224
8 p.m.-12 a.m.
I will be selling prints and comics, as well as showing all-new HONEY and MOTHER based watercolor paintings.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Buy them here, and be sure to list Celine Loup as the artist you are supporting! If you can’t make it but would still like to support me, email me after buying your ticket and I’ll send you a free 8.5 x 11 print of your choice in thanks :D Even if you can’t buy a ticket, please consider reblogging and getting the word out!
Baltimore locals, RAW is partnering up with Lyft rides to offer $20 off your first ride to the show, so you don’t have to worry about finding parking. Details here.
3. Comics And Cola reviewed Issue 1 of HONEY. I’m so touched that other people are responding to my comics, and I’m always interested to see how the work is interpreted by others—-I really never expected anyone to care about my first effort, and it’s a huge confidence boost to know they do. Thanks, C&C!
